Chicago Board of Trade soyabean futures rose 1.4 percent on Monday, supported by a round of short-covering after Commodity Futures Trading Commission data showed speculators had placed their largest bearish bet on the commodity in more than a year. Soyabeans hit their highest since March 29. Soyameal and soyaoil futures also posted higher closes.
